How to update/add to an existing menu/children display macro

I've browsed around existing pages in confluence but now am starting to add content.  I went to the screen with the menu I wanted to add to and clicked Edit.  

Something I've never seen before appeared.  The menu options were gong and an option to see the children display was shown.  I clicked on that and then selected Edit.

There were the existing three bullets/links and I wanted to add another bullet/link to the page.  There was no obvious way for me to add another bullet/link.  Can someone show me how to add a new page to this children display macro page?  I'm sure the instructions are out there somewhere but there's a lot of reading I'm going to have to go through.

Hi @Dean Nielson,

you don't add the pages in the macro. Because it relies on the page hierarchy, the list of pages is automatically updated when pages are added, deleted, or moved.

If the pages don't show up you may want to change the macro parameters. Macro parameters are used to change the behaviour of a macro.

The easiest way (if something in the parameters was changed) is to remove the macro and add it again.

Thanks much, Svenja.  I did what who implied I should do.  I found the Create button at the top and created the new page from there.  The macros/layout was cool.  The bullet/page was right where I wanted it to be.  (where I was sitting when I clicked the Create button) and then I entered/formatted the new page from there.  I already had the page contents elsewhere so I just pasted it all in and then formatted it a bit.

It looks like all the other pages now.  Thanks again Svenja.  I'll be working in Confluence in this manner much more now.
