How to turn on notifications for confluence teams

I have created a team within confluence and want my team to be notified when they are assigned an action or tagged in a comment on various confluence pages.

The members of the team should automatically be notified when the team is mentioned or assigned a task. Is that not what you are observing?

Hi there, I've checked with a member of the team yesterday but they only received a notification confirming that they have been added to the group but nothing when i've tagged them in actions. Do they need to change any notification settings?

I am not an expert in Confluence notification, but I found the following pieces of information in my searches.

Have the users been mentioned/tagged already on the page? Users will be notified for mentions only the first time they are mentioned on a given page.

Also, when mentioning a Team, if the person mentioning the Team is a member of the team then they will not receive the notification as the author of a mention does not get a notification.

If the user clicks their Avatar and selects Tasks, do they see the tasks where they have been tagged as a member of a team?
