I have created Confluence pages that include assigned tasks which have an 'expiration date' or date when those tasks need to be completed that was included using the Insert Elements feature.
Is there a way to set up an automation within Confluence to have an email sent to the assigned person on that date (usually a future date)?
There are ways to set up automated emails but what would be the goal of the email? Remind them that the item is due? Let them know the deadline for completion has passed? Knowing the goal/purpose of the email will definitely help with the structuring of the automation.
Thanks for your reply Collista!
We would want an email sent to the assigned person on the task date letting them know (in this case) that a procedure is due for review.
Using the screenshot for example, on August 13, 2027 (and again on November 12, 2027), we want an email to go to John Smith saying you have a procedure due for review and then provide the link to the Confluence page in the email, if possible.
