I have embedded a Jira timeline from our project on a confluence page. The Jira project and timeline have multiple epics, but I want to filter the embedded timeline by a specific epic.
It’s no problem to filter it, but I cannot manage to save the filter, so every time someone goes into the confluence page, the timeline shows all epics.
You embed the plans view, if that view is not filtered, the filter options you can do in the Confluence macro are only on the shared view.
You will need to filter the view in the plan and then save the view, then share this view in the macro in Confluence
Hi @Sebastian Sund ,
Are you using project timeline or Jira Plans? In Plans, you can configure views and save each view, which can be later embedded in Confluence.
As for project timelines, I think this is the limitation of the feature within Jira itself > not being able to save filters/views. There are some open suggestions on the topic so you might want to check those out and vote on the one relevant to your requirement: component = "Timeline - Filters" and statusCategory != Done
Cheers,
Tobi
