Hello,
I have a confluence page and I want to restrict editing access as shown in this link
https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf615/page-restrictions-967337528.html
But since the page already has many children pages, instead of going in each page one at a time to restrict the pages, how can I restrict them all at once? I don't see a way to do this unless I copy the page. But since those pages already exist, am I out of luck and have to restrict them individually? Or is there a way to do bulk restrictions to multiple pages all at once?
Thanks!
Hi @Justin C welcome on the community. The restrictions are inherited from the parent page, so the easiest solution is to set the restrictions to the parent page or if you want to let other users to display+edit parent page, you have to add one more page UNDER parent page -> set restrictions to it -> move childe pages under the new restricted page.
I don't think it is possible to do some bulk change for multiple pages. On the other hand, using "parent page" allows you to easily update the configuration for all the child pages.
