I seem to have lost access to my personal Confluence space. I have pasted at the bottom the message that appears when I attempt to visit the space.
I have had emails in the past warning me that the space would be removed if it was not accessed within X days, but I have always accessed and modified it within the time frames required so I do not think that this is the reason the space is missing.
I also received an email in February warning that Bit Bucket Wikis would be removed in April 2026 but this is not a Bit Bucket Wiki and so I don't think it would have been affected by this.
I'd like to be able to access the space and download it so I do not lose the content, and if it's not been blocked because of a change of terms or use policy then i'd like to be able to regain access and use it again.
Any help appreciated!
Hello @Altemia
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
How long have you been experiencing this message? When was the last time you successfully accessed the data?
You can check if the product has been deactivated in 2 places:
1. https://admin.atlassian.com, under the Apps/Atlassian Apps page. A deactivated subscription will be either missing entirely or show a warning icon next to it.
2. https://admin.atlassian.com/billing , on the Subscription page click the Inactive tab. Deactivated subscriptions will show here with the date they were cancelled.
It is also possible that your site is unavailable due to a Maintenance Window activity.

Thanks for your reply. I followed the first link you provided and I can see that my Confluence site was deactivated on the 6th of April 2026. I have selected the "Reactivate" option and followed the flow from there to create a support ticket. I will wait and see if that leads to my issue being resolved.

I recently went through this process as a test to try to determine how long data was retained after deactivation, and ended up having a dialog with an Atlassian team member through a support case.
I let a Free Confluence subscription get cancelled due to inactivity. About 19 days later I tried to reactivate it and was directed to open a case with Billing support. The end result was that they said the subscription and associated data is retained for only 14 days after deactivation, when the deactivation is due to inactivity, and the subscription and data could not be restored after that.
If yours was deactivated due to inactivity on April 6, then it is well past the 14 days during which the data could be restored.
