How to recover a space that's deleted accidently

We delete a space that contains some important files. Can it be recovered or can we have way to find backup?

If you're unsure about deleting a space, create an XML export of the space as a backup before proceeding. You can then restore the space from the XML export file if you need to.

If you haven't already, you might be able to try contacting Atlassian Support directly to see if they are able to restore a deleted space.

Disappointing that Confluence lacks a recycle bin found in similar products like Sharepoint (for about a decade). Hope Atlassian considers a feature like this before another 10 years go by.
