I would like to read a graph produced in an excel file into a wiki site. How can I do this? Does the Excel file need to output the graph first to a separate file?
Doug,
In Confluence, you can use the Chart Macro to produce a graph based on a chart. If you have a chart in Excel then it needs to be part of the Excel file and then you can embed this in Confluence. See Office Excel Macro for more details.
You also asked about SourceTree but I'm not sure I understand your question here. Were you referring strictly to Confluence?

Shannon
Thanks Shannon. Progress certainly.
More questions however. I've tried to upload screen shots to this box but it doesnt work, so I'll have to describe I guess.
The excel page has 3 graph on it and no matter what row or column number I put in there, it just reads the whole page and includes all three graphs. I'd like to have a subset of those graphs but it doesnt matter what combination of row and column numbers I put in, it always displays the entire worksheet.
Also the graphs in the wiki end up being quite large, much larger than the normal view on the browser.
Any help is appreciated.
Doug

Doug,
The issue displaying only certain columns was a known bug, but since we are discontinuing the View File macros as stated on the Excel Macro page I sent, we do not have plans to fix it:
As this isn't working properly for you, I would recommend either using the Chart Macro, avoiding Excel entirely, or you can try Bob Swift's add-on:
This would be a better solution for you, to avoid having to replace the Excel macros later once they have been discontinued.

Shannon
