I am trying to give space access (to edit) to individuals, who are showing as having access however next to their name it says 'unlicensed' and that they need access to the space first (which they have) and to contact a space admin (which I am). I am lost at how else I ca give them access?
Hey @Savannah Sobh
The issue you're encountering is related to licensing: users marked as "Unlicensed" do not currently have a Confluence license assigned in your Atlassian site. This means that, even if you try to give them access to a space, they won't be able to view or edit it until they're granted a license.
Here’s what you can do:
Once the users have a valid Confluence license, the space access permissions you’ve already granted should work as expected.
Let me know if you need help locating the admin panel!

Hi @Savannah Sobh and welcome to the Community,
the Screenshot you attached shows *page* restrictions. It may be that the people do not actually have access to the space itself. You would have to give them access in the space settings: Assign space permissions | Confluence Cloud | Atlassian Support
They may be already on there. However, if they do not have a Confluence License, they will not get access to any content that doesn't allow anonymous access. Therefore, they first need a Confluence license. You need to contact your Site Admin/User Access Admin for that.

@Savannah Sobh Welcome to the Atlassian community
You will need to work with your Org admin or your user access admin to ensure that they have access to the app. https://support.atlassian.com/user-management/docs/give-users-access-to-products/
