How to pick first value from the dropdown

Hello,

I have a dependent DB dropdown field, and I’m aiming to implement an auto-picker that automatically selects the single remaining option after filtering in the second dropdown (as there is always one possible choice after filtering). This would streamline the process and eliminate the need for manual selection by the user.

Could you advise on how to achieve this? Although the field is being correctly filtered, it is not automatically selecting the remaining option.
