I have an error that pops up in my diagram, on whiteboard -
element limit of 1000* reached.
The diagram has a lot of elements and current count is 3700 +, is there a way to increase the limit ?
Also the page is not responsive sometimes, any suggestion would be great!
Hello @Ansu Anna Alex
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
All the documentation I am finding from Atlassian indicates that the limit on the number of whiteboard elements is 10,000 not 1000.

Can you provide a screen image showing the error message?
What subscription plan are you on; free, standard, premium or enterprise?
The total element count is 4K , but i keep getting this error when I try to select and move elements.

Disclaimer: I haven't worked with Whiteboards. The information I'm providing is based on reviewing the documentation and community posts.
Jira work items can be created from sticky notes and shapes in the whiteboard, but those are not the only things counted as "elements". Elements also include lines, connectors, text blocks, images, pictures, gifs, and imported items.
Getting back to your original question, though, there is no option to increase the element limit.

Thankyou @Trudy Claspill
I split the elements to make it more readable and added the links in my main whiteboard. My eyes are happier and the page stopped getting stuck :) .
