How to have different fields shown for customers and employees?

For example, we use our JIRA as student portal.

The student can make a request, edit it, delete it, attach things and so on.

From the side of our company, we want our employees to handle those requests but not be able to edit or delete things from the student's request.

We have tried to create screens but the fields seem to be shown on both of the sides of this.

Further, because we have several other projects for different other jobs and groups, is it possible to create such things only for this project and not have it affect the others?

Thank you in advance,

R.

Hi @Rafaella Nicolaou

Field specific permissions are not supported in Jira. There are add-ons for that on server though. To restrict editing the whole issue though you can look at permission schemes (across project) or Security Levels (Issue specific).

To avoid affecting other projects in your instance you need to use separate set of schemes that will let you do set of customisations on the one or multiple projects.
