How to get text to display in a specified color

When using the RTE, I highlight text a certain color and maybe a formatting of bold or italicized. Most often, the text displays fine. However, if you have several words in a row that have been formatted, unvariably, one of the ones in the middle will refuse to display with the selected formatting.

When you view the source, it appears that the tags are input correctly. But, when you display or export, the formatting is never applied.

I've input a support ticket that has yet to be addressed and it has now been several weeks since I input it. There seems to be no workaround except to unformat the text which isn't an acceptable solution when we are following formatting standards when referencing application fields or selected values in client-facing documentation.

Has anyone else encountered and identified a workaround?

Hi Kalynn,

There was a known bug with the adaptivist macros that was causing this on 2012, but I beleive it has been fixed. Can you confirm if you are still seeing this behavior?
