Hello Confluence Community,
I need to get content of the Insert JIRA Issue/Filter macro refreshed automatically. Page reload is not working (when page is reloaded content is not refreshed and it is necessary to click on the Refresh button for the macro).
I'm looking for auto refresh that is available e.g. in JIRA Dashboard gadgets.
Thank you for your response.

@Vladimir Cech I believe that the macros cache for performance purposes. I am not aware of an auto refresh feature with the delivered macros.
Thank you @Brant Schroeder for the response.
It seems that current behavior is a "feature" although would consider it as a bug. You can be right with the performance. Nevertheless, Jira dashboard gadgets can be refreshed on the time basis.

please check if one of the two options works for you:
1) Insert the Jira issues macro | Confluence Cloud | Atlassian Support mentions a "cache" parameter that can be disabled.
2) As a workaround, I found that saving the JQL as a filter in JIRA and then use only the filter in the macro causes reload on every page visit, but this might be outdated or not working.

Harald

Hello @Harald Seyr ,
Thank you for your quick response.
1) There is not possibility to switch to Wiki markup as suggested by the article.
2) Unfortunately suggested workaround is not working. Even when there is the JQL, it's needed to click on the Refresh button.
