Whenever people open a confluence page with excerpts, where tables are “squeezed” to the left in a weird setup that looks like something is off. The team using the pages works on live channels and need the information quickly and scrolling through takes capacity. Any thoughts on how to fix this across all pages?
Hello @Aquino _Kristine
Can you share a screenshot? With blurred sensitive data.
It seems that your pages use the 'layouts' macro (arranging content of the page into columns and sections).
Hello @Kris Klima _K15t_
Please, find here the examples.
We've realised this is mostly happening in excerpts (see screenshot 1). Tables look fine in editing mode, when releasing the pages, they get to a side and readers have to scroll to see the full info.
I asked Rovo and it said it was due to not being 1800px, which was weird because in editing mode everything is perfect. So, I asked Rovo to make the table 1800px and it fixed it.
However, when dealing with text only, excerpts can't be fixed using the above Rovo workaround (screenshot 2). In editing mode, titles are in the center, but in reading mode they align to the right.
And the last problem we have is that some excerpts are completeley disappearing. When checking them in editing mode, they're also gone, but the source title remains.
We don't know if this is a bug, but we definitely need some assistance to fix this as it's starting to impact our work.
Thanks!

Hi @Aquino _Kristine ,
On top of what Kris said/asked, there are these two related bugs/suggestions:
I'm not exactly sure if I caught everything and the current behavior, but I'd also advise reaching out to your IT department (or directly to the Confluence admin) to try to troubleshoot this with you. They can check which elements exactly are used here and, if necessary, they can reach out to Atlassian Support to ask for assistance from the official team as well. 👀
I can just say that I've seen it once or twice that specific body macros can seem like they are not stable when you have complex elements within the page body. 🫤
Cheers,
Tobi
