How to export a page with only selected child pages to PDF.

In Space tools > Content Tools, when a page is selected for export, all its child pages are selected. However, when certain child pages are then deselected, they still appear in the output. Is this a bug? How can you get the parent page with only certain sub-pages?

The Plugin Scroll PDF Exporter provides the functionality to export a page and it's child pages that have defined labels. 

This wouldn't be just a good workaround, but also a major upgrade to the default pdf exporter. This plugin really provides a lot of functionallities!

I won't say this is a known issue as such (although it might be, I just didn't find an exact match at jira.atlassian.com), but this and its comments should give you a flavour of the current frustration with the limitations and problems of exporting individual pages: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-22012

There are a couple of suggested solutions including an add-on in the comments, and you might find additional add-ons to help with this in the Atlassian Marketplace.
