How to create a Confluence template from JIRA

I have a usecase which involves creating a confluence template from within a JIRA issue. Is there a pattern to follow?

Hi John,

Creating Confluence pages from within Jira issues isn't currently included in the integration. There is a feature request open to add that functionality: Create Confluence Page from Jira. it is "gathering interest" so please add your vote or comment to it if it sounds like it would be useful to you.

Please let us know more about your use case, in case someone on the forum can help. When you mention creating a confluence template, do you mean a page template?
