How to change background color in cell in table New UI?

The old UI had a toolbar at the bottom in the edit mode that allowed you to change the background color of the cell in a table that you were working on. I'm not sure if you could change any other background color, as I never used it for anything else. Now I'm trying to find it on the new UI and its no where obvious or hidden in easily accessible sub-menus. Has this been removed?

It's in Spanish but I think the image is understandable, within the table itself, display the option in the corner and you can change the cell background to the color you want.

Thank you!! I wish they had made it much more obvious, rather than hiding all those really useful items behind that tiny arrow that I completely missed!
