How to add the icon image middle of sentence.

Does anyone know about how to input the small icon image between the texts?

I just start to create the document with confluence. However I could not input the image between the texts.

1. bring and locate the cursor between the text 
2. Press insert image icon on the tool bar and chose the image.
3. there are big space between the text.
