How to add tasks w/o making my bulleted list into an entire task list

Hi, not sure if this is possible, but I would like to just capture tasks within meeting notes being taken on a confluence page, but when I click the Task button my entire list of bulleted notes turns into a task and Not just the one line item I am trying to make into my task so that it can separately be displayed using the task macro report.  Is this just not feasible?

   Welcome to the community! 

When you are taking notes, if you click on the bullet list button before clicking the task button it should allow you to add a task without converting all other bulleted items. 

Conversely when you want to go back in to a bulleted list, click the task list button then the bullet list button. It should give you something like this:
