Currently I have two iterations of a python script that takes a google drive folder and houses it as page in my confluence space, where each subfolder is a child page, and each file within those subfolders (pdf, google docs file, google sheets file) are also housed as their own child page. When I say these files are housed, I have two iterations of the script: (1) in one script, the files are included as attachments or (2) in the other case, the files are hyperlinked and when clicked on, will open in the browser. I, however, want to change the logic so that the files, when housed on their child page, will be displayed as a thumbnail or displayed inline so that I can simply click on the file in the confluence space to expand it (without having to download it or open an external webpage in my browser). I believe these are native functionality to Confluence, and currently my algorithm employs the confluence REST API and google drive API to carry out the script. I am also thinking if it is not feasible to access the thumbnail or inline capability, I could possible use the iFrame macro, or the PDF macro (which would both effectively embed the file directly on the confluence page). Any help or advice would be great!
