How to Use API in Confluence

I am new to confluence can anybody please help me. 

I want to get data from API in Confluence page apply some filters in JavaScript I have use HTML Macro plugin can anybody help how I can use any API and do some codding inside confluence.

You'll want to use https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/ for the API you'll be using, but https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/ is probably a better starting point as it's got pointers to getting started with developing for Confluence Cloud
