I’m working on a Confluence page where I want to create a structured and dynamic menu system, similar to something like a sonic menu, with multiple categories (drinks, food, desserts) and customizable options.
The goal is to store items with attributes such as name, type, price, and add-ons, and display them in a clean, user-friendly way.
I’ve been exploring options like tables, templates, and plugins (such as forms or database-like tools), but I’m not sure what the best approach is for scalability and easy updates. Ideally, I’d like something where new items can be added without breaking the layout.
Has anyone implemented something similar in Confluence?
Would you recommend using built-in features or specific apps for this use case?
Any suggestions or examples would be really helpful.
Hi @Chris Jordon ,
I haven't built something like this, but at first glance, I'd probably go with Marketplace apps. Potentially something like Refined, but there might also be others specified in this area.
Now, for the native features, some things you could try:
All options will probably require some experimenting, but that's the first thing that comes to mind, and it's related to building a structure like in your use case 👀
Cheers,
Tobi
