Problem Statement:

Some decisions, made in meetings, are not showing up in my decision report

Troubleshooting:

  1. Double checked Space and Parent links were correct within my project.  (Links appear to be correct)
  2. Opened Edit 'Decision Report' Macro.  Under options, I increased the Maximum number of decisions from 20 to 30.  (All decision now appear in report, but I'm not sure why)
  3. Opened Edit 'Decision Report' Macro again.  Under options, I decreased the Maximum number of decisions from 30 to 10.  (More decisions disappeared than in the original report)
  4. Checked all meeting minutes for decisions, regardless of any decision being made.  Went back and deleted several “blank” decisions from minutes.  (Did not appear to change anything but I'm not sure that this is correct though.  I think this allowed all decisions to show up again but I didn't notice at the time.)
  5. Counted the number of meeting minutes pages.  (25 total meeting minute pages.  This made me think that the report was counting Meeting Minute pages, not decisions.  As a result, the total number of decisions displayed is based on number of Pages 'Page Titles')
  6. Went back to Edit 'Decision Report' macro and changed the Maximum number of decisions down to 4.  (Several of my decisions vanished from the report but so did the Meeting Minute Page Title.  The report was now showing 5 decisions related to 4 Page Titles.  Meaning the 4 meeting minute pages where the decisions were made)
  7. Again entered Edit 'Decision Report' macro and changed Max number of decisions to 6.  (All decisions made show up, 7 total.  And, the 5th meeting minute page also shows up now).

Initial Conclusion:

Decisions that appear in the report are based on number of Page Titles, not the number of Decision made.

Further questions:

Do I have a configuration incorrect somewhere?

If a "blank" decision line is located in a Meeting Minute Page, is that counted?

Does the Decision Report actually count the meeting pages not the decisions?
