Hi, I'm starting a role where I will be managing our content center in Confluence with thousands of unique items (articles, guides, etc.) and I'd like to create standard operating procedures for how to add tags, labels, or metadata to content to make searching more effective. Can anyone share help resources that exist to help admins set this up? Many thanks!
Michael
my colleagues have built comprehensive resources around best practices in Confluence. I'd recommend to check them out.
Since you've asked specifically for labels or better searchability, this (free) course might be best suited for it. If you're more the video person, you can check out this video or livestream recording about using labels or creating a label system in Confluence.
Hope that helps,
Matthias.
Sweet @Matthias Gaiser [K15t] I see some great modules on naming and labels. Is there a particular module or tutorial you might point me to that introduces the larger guidance on integrated practices to ensure that users can use simple search methods to find what they're looking for? (Note that I'm thinking about the users SEARCHING, but I know that it relies on effective naming, labeling, and organizing up front!)

Hey @Michael Weinraub ,
the best piece of content is our best practice about using labels in Confluence. This one gives you some tips on how to name your labels and how it improves your search results. It also shows how to maintain your new label system to make sure it's not falling apart once it's build.
Let me know if there is anything else you'd like to learn about.
Cheers,
Steffen
