How do I move a code block macro (with code in it) to another page?

If I try to copy a code macrom with code in it and paste it to another page, I just get the code as text.  I need to move the entire macro to another page.

Are you in Edit mode for the source page?

Have you highlighted the entire macro?

Versus highlighting the text within the macro?

What options are you using to copy/paste; short cut keys, mouse clicks, ...? What browser application are you using?

I am in Chrome on a MAC.  I cannot seem to highlight the entire macro - it also selects the text inside.  The copy menu item on the macro copies the test not the entire macro.  I have tried this in edit mode and not in edit mode.

I also use Chrome on a Mac. I happen to be using an Incognito window.

What method are you trying to use to highlight the macro?

I find that, while in Edit mode for the page, if I hover my mouse in this area then the icon for grabbing the entire macro displays. If I click on that then the entire macro is selected.

I then use Cmd-C to copy the macro. I can then use Cmd-V to paste it into another page open in Edit mode.
