How do I import a document with comments from google docs into Confluence?

I can't find a way to do this. you can export the Google Doc to Word/docx format - which preserves the comments - but then when you import that into confluence, the comments get munged into the text.

If you embed the Google Doc into a confluence page using the Confluence Google Drive plugin, it doesn't show the comments.
