Hi - I'm having a couple of users report that they cannot see all the Pages in our Space - and they have been added as Individual Users as well as being part of a group that is set to have View Access in the Space.
Clearly I'm new to using Confluence and I've been searching how to troubleshoot this issue for a couple of days when I've been able to make time.
For one of the users, I shared each page with them individually - and they reported they're still not seeing them listed in the Page Tree.
What might I need to check to help resolve this issue for them?
Hi theresa.henriksen@stemcell.com,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
The pages that your users cannot see, do they or their parents happen to have page restrictions on them? The easiest way to find out is on the page that you are sharing, click on the pad lock up in the right hand corner and then Inspect permissions. Enter the user and you can see if they can view the page or not, and if not you should be able to identify which parent page that is preventing it.
View restrictions are inherited down from the parent page, while edit restrictions are not.
Thank you Mikael,
When I click on "Inspect Permissions" I get a text block that I need to upgrade to Premium.
I'll at least ensure they're added to be able to view and see if that corrects the issue for them.
Thanks again for offering this response!

The strange thing to me is that they both are part of a group that our IT team manages, and the group already has permission to view the pages.

Okay, so go to space settings > manage pages > restricted. Here you can see all pages that have page restrictions set. What you are looking for is if any of the parent pages in the page tree has view restrictions set.
Note that these restrictions overrides space settings, so even if users belong to the same group, they may not have the same view permissions, since those can be set to an individual user.
