How do I customize the fields in an advanced planning view that has been embedded into Confluence?

In Confluence, I using the 'Jira Premium plan' option under the insert elements function, trying to embed an advanced planning view. The issue is once the plan shows in Confluence, it is displaying some default fields in which I am not interested. Also, when I add the fields in which I am interested, they display until the page is published; then it reverts back. Feels like a bug.

The fields I want to add are custom.

Hello @Hill_ Fred J
Try this

  1. In Jira Plan, not in Confluence, set the exact columns/fields you want.
  2. Save the view in the Plan.
  3. Use Share → Copy link from the Plan.
  4. In Confluence, paste that link and choose Embed, instead of using the older Insert Elements → Jira Premium plan option. (Atlassian’s current documentation points to the Smart Link embed flow as the supported method.)
  5. Confirm the custom fields are properly associated with the projects and work types included in the Plan.
