How can I have a restricted Confluence page where multiple people can approve access to the restricted page?
Currently, only the page creator receives approval requests for the restricted page.
The approval requests do not come through to the page owner.
Is there a way this can be amended to allow multiple approvals?
Any support is much appreciated.
Hi @Victoria Dickson ,
Welcome to the community !!
Page access request works as follows by default. There is no way to change this.
If someone asks permission to view or edit a restricted page, confluence will email whoever is in the best position to grant permission. First choice is the page creator. If the page creator is unable to grant permission (if their account is deactivated or if their page access has been revoked), then confluence will send the email to the last person who updated the page. If no page creators or editors are able to grant permission, then confluence will send the email to a space admin.
For suggestion/new feature, please raise a request in https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa . Atlassian team will look into it.
Thank you!
