How do I ALWAYS open ticket in tab WITHOUT right click. Configurable?

I'm constantly accidentally triggering the ticket summary while in board view. I NEVER, EVER want to see. Kill it with fire. I would like to configure the links in my board to open a new tab for the ticket. It eats up valuable horizontal screen space. Especially on laptops and small screen resolutions on video calls.

I'm guessing this isn't configurable. I'm here hoping someone will prove me wrong. I can't find a setting.

I can't figure out how to make a feature request either.

This is a small thing that makes the people on my team curse at Jira every day.

I know this answer isn't the greatest, but CTRL+Click (on windows) will open up the details in a new tab.
