How can i start creating ER digram?

In the create list, I don't get the ER diagram option,

Confluence Whiteboards is great for quick brainstorming and visual collaboration! If you're looking to create more detailed ERD diagrams directly within Confluence, you might also want to check out draw.io. It offers a lot of database diagramming features (like entity-relationship shapes, connectors, and templates) and is native to Confluence.

You can create a ER diagram, as below:
1. Create -> Page
2. Edit mode of page, Add Macro -> Create Diagram OR type 'er diagram' -> Whiteboard will be available with ER template.

Both answers above work — draw.io is the standard diagramming tool in Confluence. I'll add one alternative if your use case is specifically documenting a database schema rather than general-purpose diagramming.

I'm the developer of Database Schema Diagram for Confluence — a dedicated macro for this: you add tables, define columns with data types, and draw foreign key relationships by dragging between fields. The diagram lives inside the Confluence page with no separate file to manage.

When draw.io makes more sense: if you need flowcharts, architecture diagrams, or anything beyond DB schema — draw.io is the better tool.

When a dedicated tool makes more sense: if your primary need is "document the structure of a database and keep it next to the relevant Confluence docs" — a specialized tool gets you there faster without learning draw.io's shape library.

Hi @Bushra Shretih , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your post. 

Usually you need to create a page first in order to be about to create a diagram. 

Please can you try creating a page and see if you get the option to create a diagram that way?
