I have created 2 pages (page1 and page2) in Confluence space.

I want link some data from page1 to page2. Data from page one should show in page2.

How can this be done? Pls note that i do not want the entire data from page1 to show in page2. But only some selected data should show.

Hi @Sheela Lokesh ,

The standard Confluence macros for such case are the Excerpt/Excerpt Include macros.

If it happens so that you use our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app, note that it provides a more advanced version of these macros - Table Excerpt/Table Excerpt Include.

The macros collect both tabular and non-tabular content and allow you to assign names to your excerpts. So, you'll be able to pull several (not one!) excerpts from one page and choose which exact excerpts you need.

The Table Excerpt Include macro also allows you to show the page meta data of your excerpts:

  • page name (link) if you need to go to the original content and change smth
  • parent page
  • space
  • labels
  • author
  • last modifier
  • created
  • updated

Maybe this will help your case.

Welcome to the Community!

Take the block on page-1 that should show in page 2, and surround it in an "excerpt" macro.  Then on page 2 (and other places you might want it), use "excerpt-include: <space>:page-1
