How can I update the max upload size settings on the embedded HSQLDB database with trial install

I am trying too install the Gliffy plugin, and when I do, I get an failure.  After performing research on the error message, it is do to the default allowable size of the packet being sent to the DB.

My install of confluence is version 3.5.13, and gliffy is 5.4.5.  I am using this version to match a customers environment and attempt to recreate an issue they are having, the only problem is I can't get the plugin installed to continue my testing.

How can I update the allowable size of the embedded HSQLDB database?

That usually means the data is too long for the field it's trying to wedge it into.  In the case of HSQL. it's probably not even worth the effort of working out where the bug is - use a proper database (ideally the one your client is using)
