How can I switch off e-mail notifications?

Hi all,

I have integrated the Confluence app onto my personal Slack account so that I can receive Slack notifications rather than e-mails for pages I am following. Despite this, I still receive the e-mails even when I have deactivated them in my Confluence settings. Anybody know how I can remove these duplicated notifications? I have no problem with this in Jira.
