This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Add, Assign, and View Tasks
Hi all,
I want to track Confluence Meeting Notes' tasks in JIRA (Core) and not only in Confluence.
How can I see them in the project board\backlog and enjoy the integration of both tools?
Thanks,
Snir
You don't. Confluence tasks are not JIRA issues. You'll need to stop using them as tasks and move over to recording them in JIRA (then you can report on them in Confluence)
I actually like the simplicity of Confluence tasks. We start with confluence tasks and if something deserves more attention/tracking, we sent them to JIRA using the 'Create JIRA issue' option.
That leaves the JIRA issue (and its status) on the Confluence page (alongside the task) and the issue itself can be planned into sprints.
