How can I make the Company Hub the default landing page?

I'd like to make our Company Hub the default landing/home page when a user logs into Confluence, or clicks our logo in the top left corner. Right now, it defaults to the confluence home page, and i know we can change it to any space, but for some reason the company hub is not an option.

Atlassian has acknowledged this request in  their backlog. Refer https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-82127. If you want to push it forward, upvote  it so that it gets prioritized.

I got curious about "the why" behind this because it seemed weird to me that they'd just get rid of the functionality, but it seems that's exactly what they've done. (Without a satisfying reason)

In the article @Barbara Szczesniak linked (way down at the bottom) there's a workaround listed and you'll never guess what it is... Make a new space with the Company hub info and set that as the default landing page (without access to Hub-only content like Links Menu, Audience Segmentation, and the ability to apply your own custom hex values to Spotlights). 🤦‍♀️

ETA - I answered in a hurry and got it wrong. Thanks to those who provided corrections!

If you're an administrator, this should be pretty simple. If not, you'll need to work with your Confluence admin to set it up. 

The steps are in this Community article but in short:

• Go to Product Settings
• Go to Settings > Configuration > General Configuration
• Open the dropdown under Confluence landing page and select Company Hub
• Scroll down and click the Save configuration changes blue button to save your changes.

Hi @Anne Saunders ! The Company Hub is not an option in this dropdown. I'm an admin in Confluence and the hub. Do I need to change a setting to allow it to be used as the landing page?

@Anne Saunders Just want to note that there is a note at the top of the article you linked to that says:

As of March 2026: This feature is no longer available as we have introduced new navigation changes to Company Hub. More info here.
