How can I invite my teammate?

민기 February 4, 2024

Honestly, I think I can be mad at you guys.

1. I clicked on the 'User Invitation' button at the top of confidence B and invited the email, but the team members couldn't log in.

2. When I looked up the Internet, they told me that I had to go to the admin page and invite users, so I tried to invite them to confidence B, but it was only invited by confidence A. Even on the admin page, I can't even access confidence B.

3. I tried to delete confluence A, but it says, "There are products that need to be removed before deleting an organization. If you recently removed a product, try again in a moment."

As a result, I couldn't invite my team members and delete the previously incorrectly made conflante A, so I couldn't do anything, waste time, and write questions with only stress.

How can I invite my teammate?

Welcome to the community @민기 !

I understand your frustration, as we are here to fix it.

As a prerequisite, you need to invite the users to join your site. You are doing this by:

1. Settings -> User Management -> Invite users.

2. When you are inviting a user, deselect all product roles, then add a product role for Confluence which is going to be a user (unless you have admins)

3.User needs to accept the invite, otherwise their status is going to be Invited, which you do not want to have.

To add a user:

  1. First, you need to be a space admin in order to add the users to it
  2. Then you navigate to Space Permissions -> Users -> Add a user with permissions that they need (this depends on the business requirement)

To delete an organization:

As from the message, in order to delete an organization, all products need to be deleted:

  1. Navigate to admin.atlassian.com and choose your organization
  2. Go to Products -> Manage Product - here you need to remove the users from the groups
  3. Move on to deleting the organization

NOTE: You need to be an org admin in order to perform these actions.

Hi @민기

Can you check if you have removed the users from all of the groups?

Can you also check the Products section for your organisation? There should be more products showing, Atlas is showing by default.

Thank you @Nikola Perisic  for answering.

Can you check if you have removed the users from all of the groups?

-> Yes I removed all users of the group what I want to remove.

Can you also check the Products section for your organisation? There should be more products showing, Atlas is showing by default.

-> As you said, I check the Producst section of my organization. but unfortunately I only can find 1 product in red box mentioned above.

I've also encountered this glitch, where one of the organizations was deleted, however it still shows as an existing one.

Are you receiving the same error when trying to delete the organisation?

민기 February 5, 2024

When I try to delete an organization, it says, "There are products that need to be removed before deleting them. If you recently removed a product, try again in a moment," so I can't delete it.

However, the group has never made a payment, and even though there are no users in the group, but it cannot be deleted.

And above all, what I really don't understand is that there are two groups, and the service is made difficult to use so that the other group can't be viewed on the admin page and can't be invited.

In the case of Slack, even if you create multiple groups, it is easy to delete the group and invite team members to the group, but Confluence is too difficult.

Of course, I know that it is not your fault, so I want you @Nikola Perisic know that I'm not blaming you.
