I have inserted a link that leads to another confluence space. But I'd like it to open in a new tab. Is that even possible?
Hi @Lisa Bauer and welcome here!
As per documentation Links, Confluence doesn't provide an option to configure a link to open in a new window or tab. Users can choose to right click / CTRL+click the link if they want to open it in a particular way or if you go with the mouse over you can decide to open it in a new tab.
if you are on a server instance you could use Link Opener for Confluence plugin.
Another option is to use HTML Macro adding html like this
<a href="https://www.google.com/" target="_blank">The Google</a>
Hope this helps,
Fabio
Insert link as INLINE link - publish page - go over the link in display mode with the mouse pointer - a function image will appear - open function in new TAB - select.
Application in the Cloud in EDGE Browser
