Currently when I take a screenshot and paste it in my images are being centered by default, and I need to manually fix it every time. I want to punch my screen - the lack of respect for the current formatting is really, REALLY irritating.
How can I fix this?
Just started with the Cloud version, ran into the same issue straight away. It's 2025 and you ran into this issie in 2021... they still haven't fixed this.
My best solution: while editing, press CTRL+A (select all) followed by CTRL+SHIFT+L. This aligns the whole page to the left, including images.
I can confirm this is the current default behavior -- and your suggestion is a good one! Maybe open up a feature request for this improvement? I also think it would be helpful to use the current alignment by default, and would vote on the issue you raise.
From what I've seen, the Confluence team is actively working on improving the way images are handled. Best wishes, Sharon

So I'm taking a class on a cloud guru and I'm pasting in screenshots of my work and all sorts of things in my personal notes.
One thing I needed to do was make a note macro with an image... and that's apparently not possible.
WHAT??
How is this not a showstopper?
