I've seen threads in the Community directing users to enter a new Server Base URL in the corresponding box under "General Configuration" in the Site Administration window. I'm the systemadmin, but I don't see any option but to change the Site Title. Any ideas as to why I'm unable to change the Server Base URL?
Before you delete it though I would check with Atlassian support. They may be able to change it for you without having to wipe out everything and start over.
The only fields in my "Site Configuration" section are for the Site Title and Contact Administrators Message...any ideas as to why that would be? Perhaps because I'm using Confluence Cloud? Thanks!

Correct. On Server and Data Center (self-hosted,) it's easy to change the name. On Cloud, you can't do it, though.

Hi @Dan Myers ,
Yes , you can change Server Base URL .
You can see a section site configuration in the General Configuration tab where you can edit the Server Base URL.
You also need to change URL which you use to access confluence otherwise you may face some error .
<installation-directory>\conf\server.xml
.path

Are you are on Confluence Cloud? If so, you can't change it.

I see....If I were to cancel my Confluence account and start from scratch with a more generalizable URL, would I be able to transfer pages/spaces to the new account somehow? Thanks!

Basically, this is what you need to do. Read over how to export and import spaces. This is ultimately what you need to do. My advise would be to do a complete backup of your Cloud Confluence instance as well, just in case something goes wrong. You can restore it to a Server instance this way, worst case.
