How Do I Not Have the Same Attachment In Every Attachment Panel on a Page

On a page I have a section. Inside the section is a panel named DOCUMENTATION. Inside the DOCUMENTATION panel are four more panels with different labels to indicate the type of subject matter attached to that panel. Inside that panel is the Attachments macro. For instance

DOCUMENTATION

 Data Sheets

(attachments)

User Manuals

(attachments).

Ideally I could drop in whatever document to where ever based on its subject matter but evidently Confluence sees all attachments the same and all attachments appear in each Attachments panel.

So is there a way to segregate attachments so that they don't appear in each panel?

thanks

I suspect your four attachments macros simply have no selection criteria, so they're displaying and working with all the attachments on the page.  I think you might want to edit them to add "label = <whatever the label is for the section>"

The drag and drop isn't going to work though, the attachments macro isn't clever enough to know what to do with the attachment to get it to appear when you have set selection rules.  In an ideal world, if you did an attachment macro with "label = Dave", the drag and drop would know to add "Dave" as a label to the incoming attachment.
