Horizontal arrows not appearing on table

In the past when I have created a table on a page there are horizontal arrows (each facing a different direction) that you can use to widen just the table.  I have been able to wide from original and then widen to full screen.

I am trying to widen just the table (not the text above it) and am having no luck.  The horizontal arrows are at the very top of the page but when I click on that it widens to full screen and the text above the table looks horrible and is left justified.

Anything I am missing here?

Hi Kate, welcome to the community.  With the new table editor, on the far right of the table is a vertical bar.  If I hover over it, the tool tip is "Resize Table" and I can drag right or left to change the width of the table.

I know there are a few tickets out on Atlassian's Jira site (jira.atlassian.com) regarding table operations if your interested.
