Horizontal Navigation Bar

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I created a horizontal bar with 7 tabs across - each representing a department. I have created individual team pages for each department that I want opened when one clicks on the department from the horizontal bar selection. However, when I create the "insert page" marco within the "Horizontal Navigation Bar Page" marco I get two of the same department appear of the horizontal bar, in addition to the horizontal bar tabs within the child page. Is there a way for it not to duplicate the tab names?
