I wanted to see the deleted or trash pages.
Hi @Mahakalkar_ Samiksha _GT CTO Cloud COE BAU L_ Enabling Platforms_
In Jira Cloud, you can view deleted Confluence pages by navigating to Space Settings → Content → Trash. From there, you will have the option to review and restore the deleted pages if needed.
Please ensure that the appropriate Jira Cloud/Confluence permissions and license setup are enabled, as the Trash option may not be visible otherwise.
Hi @Mahakalkar_ Samiksha _GT CTO Cloud COE BAU L_ Enabling Platforms_ ,
In Confluence Cloud the trash is per space (there's no global, site-wide
trash). To view it:
1. Go to the space where the pages were deleted.
2. Next to the space's name in the sidebar, select More actions (•••) → Space
settings.
3. Open the Content menu and select Trash.
Two things to be aware of:
1. Go to the space where the pages were deleted.
2. Next to the space's name in the sidebar, select More actions (•••) → Space settings.
3. Open the Content menu and select Trash.
Two things to be aware of:
- You need space admin permission for that space to see the trash. If you don't see the Trash option, ask a space admin (or a site admin) to check it for you.
- If you restore a page from the trash, it is restored to the root of the space (same level as the space home page), not to its previous location, and it loses its
inherited permissions — so you'll likely need to move it back to the right place in the page tree afterwards.
Items stay in the trash until someone purges them, so deleted pages are normally recoverable unless they were purged or the whole space was deleted.
