Hi,
I've setup the mail session from the instruction below:
- Edited the server.xml:
- Moved the 3 following files from the link above to <confluence-install>\lib
- restarted the Confluence.
Still got the error below:
javax.servlet.ServletException: Servlet execution threw an exception
at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.internalDoFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:238)
caused by: java.util.ServiceConfigurationError: javax.mail.Provider: Provider com.sun.mail.imap.IMAPProvider not a subtype

......
Can anyone help me how to fix this?
Cheers
This question is old but I would leave a comment for those who encounter the same error: read the instruction at https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/setting-up-a-mail-session-for-the-confluence-distribution-6328.html carefully. It says in plain: "Move (don't copy)"
If you do copy than you get the error above
