Has anyone found a way to include Spotlights on Global or Space templates?

I'm trying to build out Spaces with pages that include a spotlight element at the top but there is no way to include spotlights in templates from what I have seen.  What am I missing?

Adding spotlights to templates is currently not supported. 🫤
The workaround would be to add placeholder text with something like:

Insert Spotlight here and upload header image

But it's probably far from ideal.

I'd probably suggest reaching out to Atlassian Support and discussing your requirement with them. Their team can raise a feature suggestion for which you can drop a vote and comment(s).
I did try checking if there are open feature requests, but couldn't find anything related to this.

*note that you need to be app admin in order to raise a feature request

This is what I suspected.  Thanks for the suggestion.  I'll have my admin submit a feature request.
