HTML Imports result in empty pages

Hey there,

Large HTML imports seem to result in empty pages. Is there a way to get around this somehow? Theres a bug report here about it but we need to get hundreds of pages imported asap..

Hi @Mikko Riissanen

Check your maximum attachment size -  as per Atlassian docs, the size of the imported zip file (html) cannot exceed your max attachment size.

Large HTML files can import as empty pages due to size limits or unsupported tags/resources.

Workarounds:
• Split large HTML into smaller files before import
• Remove scripts, iframes, and unsupported tags
• Inline or upload images/files separately
• Convert HTML → Word/PDF → import instead
• Try importing in batches

If urgent, splitting and cleaning the HTML usually resolves the issue fastest.
