Group Symch from Azure

Hello Community!

I am relatively new to administrating Confluence and have come across a problem for which I cannot even find a good description for and was hoping you guys could help.

We have setup Azure AD as our Identity Provider, with a few security groups attached to groups within Confluence to give access to the pages. Problem is that their inboxes were setup within O365 after they first tried to log on. This led to the logon completing fine, but then basically not have a user profile in Confluence.

I tried to correct this by deleting the user in Confluence and forcing a re-synch. Azure now says that the synch doesn't need to happen as the user is there, which they are but with a status of "no product access". I can now neither deactivate the user, as they are managed via the ID Manager, nor assign the groups per hand, again as they are managed by the ID manager.

Any ideas how I can either completely reset the user, get Confluence to recognise the AD groups that the user has or assign the required groups per hand?

Thanks!
