I've installed the Confluence Cloud app in MS Teams and gone through the process of requesting approval from my admin. It seems to partially work - I can add tabs to chats or channels which have the embedded Confluence pages. But I don't seem to be getting any Confluence notifications within Teams for mentions, comments, changes to watched pages, etc., which was what I really wanted.
I do still see a warning "Ask your admin to review permissions" which says "please send this link to your administrator", but I'm unable to copy this link out from the message - seems like a bug where the link that gets copied is actually a link to the chat message itself.
Can anyone advise on how to get this working?
Thanks!
Can you post a screen shot of this warning? I haven't used this integration myself, but I am curious if it is asking for the Atlassian or MS Teams admin to set permissions.
Hi Shawn,
This was the chat message I was seeing with the warning:
The problem was that it wasn't possible to actually copy that link to send to my admin. In the end I worked around it by hovering over the link to see the link text, screenshotting and using OCR to extract the link. Then my admin could follow it to enable the appropriate permissions.
Now it's working perfectly! I can configure notifications to receive real-time alerts in Teams for various things happening in Confluence.
Cheers,
Ben
